Director, Data Insights & Experience Analysis

An exciting new role for a qualified actuary who has spent the last 5+ years in a role where you have demonstrated you have an advanced skill using different statistical tools and techniques (such as Emblem, R and SQL) to analyse an insurer or reinsurer’s historic experience. You will be a proficient communicator, particularly able to explain complex issues to non-technical audiences and able to draw out anomalies in past experience and work with those from other disciplines to identify remedies to address these. You will have a strong interest in using new techniques to help insurers glean the best practical insights from their data.

Your assignments will be varied. Initial work will likely include working with insurers to help them understand their past experience, identifying any trends or anomalies and preparing this information to be presented to a wide variety of stakeholders.

The role will ultimately have responsibility for leading a team of data scientists and experience analysts to provide a market leading service to Asian insurers. You will also conduct coaching and training for these staff as well as relevant staff at client companies.
